we, right now, actually are pretty solid on sabre fencers.
unless you count the person who can't fence because her ankle keeps swelling up for reasons passing understanding, the three who aren't under any circumstances to be competing this year, and the two with knee issues. i mean, assuming everyone's fine for every meet, we have more than enough fencers. if people start dropping.... like they do every year....
and i'm still probably a-strip. ....i think. not as solidly as i was last year, to be sure. but i'm still hanging on. we'll see how this goes.
but yeah, i'm not very good at epee, and i don't understand foil.
there's this thing we call the "sabre apptitude test"-- it's having one arm windmilling in one direction, and the other arm going in the other direction. if you can't do it, you fence sabre.
i can't do it.

ok, back to EPEE!!! | Naked cute epeeists are never off topic! Congrats Glow.... you were always a handsome devil to me...
The burning question I have is will you Glow less now with the light not reflecting off your teeth? Or Glow more because we can see your pearly whites better?

| (Enter Grammar Nazi, stage left.) I just want to point out that neither FG nor RITF is using French correctly. Unless FG is in fact a large male truck driver after all, in which case, RITF is OK. Agreement, people! We're epeeists! We tend to agree properly! (Exit Grammar Nazi.)
Oh, and Glow, I can see your smile from here. Very glowy. Congratulations.
I just want to say that I hate dry fencing in epee. Worse than foil. I swear, people think they have to puncture your lung to recognize a touch. But hey, at least I finally got them doing some epee these days. Nothing like putting away childish things for the Big Weapons.

| Look, for someone who doens't speak a word of French, I think I did alright for myself. You can grammar nazi me all you want in English, but my mother taught it at Rutgers for thirty odd years. I'll try not to give you the opportunity.
