| It may just be me, but I'm thinking that of the three weapons, epee is the best metaphor for life. What do you think?

Looks a lot like life to me.

| Also, standing in place and bouncing will take you a long way, as long as you are also lucky, and...I'm not sure what metaphor best suits the tendency for never washing your uniforms and smelling like sour milk all the time...

| Perhaps you wouldn't smell sour milk so often if you made all the sabre fencers wash their gear.

| That would be as helpful as washing the cat after the dog had gotten sprayed by a skunk...

You see, Inq, epeeists have to get up early to go to tournaments. Saberists can sleep in and STILL have time to do laundry!

| I will take bouncing over screaming any day of the week. I can deal with a bouncing opponent, but if they are screaming, I'd get in trouble for shutting them up. I mean, seriously, isn't a bellguard to the face warranted after a shriek?

That sounds about right, laying around for the majority of the day, but occasionally showing extreme bursts of energy (fencing sabre). Do you also refuse to take commands and fail to show any respect--even to the people who feed you?
Careful going after that mouse, wouldn't want you to break a hip.

| 2,000 I hereby dedicate this, my 2,000th post, to all the epee fencers out there. May your knees remain bouncy, and may your wiles ever increase!
