| You guys are picky I meant I only fence epee, nothing else.
Oddly enough, at my club epee is "The grey side of the Force," foil being the light side and sabre the dark.

| My older son is coming back to fencing today after a three year absence. I am hoping he sticks with it long enough for me to convince him to give épée a try. Did I mention that he is 6'5" tall?

| One of the epeeists in our club is about 6'2" and his lunge is crazy, he can literally advance-lunge from on-guard line to [well past] the other on-guard line.

| Size isn't everything, but having long legs certainly is an advantage when it comes to lunge distance (unless you are a weakling).
I did forget to mention that this guy has been fencing since he was 7 and he's the coaches kid, so he does have more going for him than just height.
