I wondered if you all sat around having conversations that consisted of nothing but: epee? epee epee?! EPEE!
Which I hereby conclude you do!

| Last week I succesfully made a foilist pick up an epee, and do epee drills. If I can succesfully convert him from his evil infadel ways then you will all be invited to his epee baptism.

| I hardly dare saying that last Monday night, at fencing training, I fenced FOIL for the first time (well, actually not really the first time, but my first time dates back sooooooooooo many years, that it's hardly worth mentioning it).
We did a small competition. I actually pointed. And guess what, I actually ENJOYED it too!!!!
I won't convert to foil, but I think it's really cool and I will not miss the next opportunity to fence it again.
Must admit, it felt as if I had a needle in my hands, but nevertheles......I liked it.

But chances are that what you were watching happened too quickly and with more subtlety than your brain could process. |

| I have this theory, that epeeist have a sleep mode very much akin to my computer. It turns off the monitor and the harddisks but I still hear the fan going (epeeist still breathe when they are in the "sleep mode" right?). And the little light flashing to remind me the computer is still actually on, is like the epeeist bouncing in place!

| i must have missed a lot since i have last been here. i come back and there is a national coach is fired, a petition is going around to have the president removed from office, and every one has twice the rep points. the one thing i have not yet seen is what the new fie rules for next year will be.

Now, I still have not heard the latest rule change proposal. I know there has to be one, there always is (at least for the past few years) or has all the nonsense with the timing changes and mask requirements finally come to an end? (that would be hard to believe)
Come on, someone please give a definitive answer, I have not been here very much and have not been fencing very much in the few months. (it is hard to keep up on things like this when in college and on the bowling team).
