Do you think all the colonisation etc etc thats happened.. slaugtering of people... controlling of people, would have happened had they been armed with swords alone. No. The world would be a much better place.
The end.

| Its human nature to kill. It would have been slower, but it would have happened.

Today, loads of guns are owned by people who should not have them, and use them for wrong things.

The end. | Oh yeah, cause there were no violent and bloody wars before the invention of gunpowder. No slaughtering of people either. It was a vertitable Golden Age.
By the way, without the colonization that took place, the human race would either a) be a very concentrated mass of people in say, somewhere in Africa, or b) not exist at all. It is human nature to want to control resources and gain control over more territory. From fists to stones to bows and arrows to swords and to guns, they all accomplish the same thing.

| Silly me…. Of course, our team would be the Powerpuffs plus F-Net’s Foil wielding Squirrel ! We would be unstoppable!

| And if y'all need a referee per number of fencers in this Fencing.net team, I'll volunteer my services as a mandatory accompanying referee.... Don't you guys need a team of armorers as well? And team manager? Which board/forum will the Fencing.net team be competing against? Which website/chatroom will be the venue?

Don't you guys need a team of armorers as well? And team manager?. . . | We should choose support personnel for the teams. Armorers have been discussed (DHCJr, Ye Olde, Purple, Mergs, and fencerbill could probably forge blades out of thin air if the put their heads together) but no one has mentioned a captain for any of these teams (ohh, did I just open up a can of worms?!)
Why has only one person though to put dknj on their foil team?! I, for one, would hate to face a team comprised of dknj, Craig, and Edew. Quote: |

I have to say a big thanks to everyone who has voted for me on their team - I'm very flattered. | Fencing Guy deserves to be on that team, I don't know if he cares about his identity, but he's on the FIE points list, and I could find where he was on the national points list, if the website where working....but alas |
