2005 Southwest Section USFA Championships and Summer National Qualifiers

Registration is now open for the:

Southwest Section, USFA Championships: DivIA and Under-19 National Qualifiers
May 14th and 15th, 2005

PLEASE NOTE: Sectional Championships will be held in the Gulf Coast Division at the Houston Athletic Fencing Center
4997 West Bellfort, Houston, Texas 77035

(Not in the South or North Texas Divisions as originally scheduled due to venue difficulties)

A PDF flier will be available on the Section Website (http://www.southwestfencing.org) in a couple of days. A flier will be mailed to all members of the Section.

Preregistrations will not be complete unless accompanied by payment of registration and event fees. Those wishing to prepay by credit card may utilize the FRED gateway. Those preferring to prepay by check may
mail in the registration form in the flier. At-the-door registration will also be available, with higher registration fees.

A referee corps fully staffed by rated referees will be used for this tournament with the majority of referees to used ranked at 6 or above.

Referees currently rated below a 6 who wish to be observed for possible rank increase may be offered the opportunity to do so, as circumstances warrant. Applicants must have taken the FOC seminar, and have passed the written exam and practical. Contact the Section Vice Chair, David Sierra at oso97@hotmail.com for further inquiries.
