| Who are you wearing? So what labels do you wear when you're off the piste? When you're wearing a label, that is.
I'm just a generic jeans-and-tee-shirt guy most of the time. Motorcycle leathers are by Vanson and Schott. But when I dress nice I like Hugo Boss and Armani.
My wife thinks I don't dress up nearly enough, and is partial to Chanel, Betsey Johnson and Western Kitty (now there's an eclectic mix!). Her motorcycle leathers are from some place in Germany, can't remember the name.
So, who are you wearing?

| Work is custom tailored pants from Singapore and Victora Secret mail order turtlenecks.
Dressy casual is RM Willams indigo jeans, a nice shirt (H&M, Cue) and various footwear, depending on where I am going.
House wear is either home made Pjs or Bonds Tracksuits (cheap, cheerful and DAMN comfy).

| I wear suits from Today's Man (well, they're out of business now, so probably going to go to Men's Wearhouse next time). I can usually find suits there that are of much better quality than brand-name designers' stuff. I can't believe what utter cr@p most famous label really are, when it comes to fabric quality, cut and sewing. Truly appalling. And they wonder why the fashion industry is dying.
My shirts I do NOT get from the discount stores, however. Tails are too short and come untucked, cuffs and collars fray too soon, and fabric is cr@p. Nordstrom brand fits me best, but Hugo Boss and Geoffrey Beene fit nicely as well and are excellent quality for the money.
I'd never heard of that western line before. Checked out the website, though, looks good.

| Uh...
Mark's Work Wearhouse t-shirt.
Mark's Work Wearhouse jeans (old and tattered).
Mark's Work Wearhouse belt.
Mark's Work Wearhouse white socks with grey toes and heels.
And a good old pair of BVD's.
I like dressing in comfy jeans or a t-shirt, or a suit and tie. I really don't like "office casual" or fancy sweaters, that sort of thing. Feast or famine, I guess...

| I don't wear labels. I don't buy shirts with alligators, polo players or other visible logos if at all possible. Same with jackets or pants. I don't wear team jerseys for athletic teams, or t-shirts with company or team logos or designs.
Personal philosophy thing -- if some company wants to use me as an advertising board, they ought to damn well pay me for the rights. I'll wear a team's name on a t-shirt if it's the team I'm playing with, or a school logo on a shirt of a school I'm attending. But I'm not going to buy anything with a visible company logo on it, if I can avoid it.
The one exception of this is my Atlanta Fencing logo jacket... (no I didn't go, but it's a nice jacket anyway...)
What do I buy? Land's End Men's dress shirts and pants. Polo shirts from Lands End or no-name brand polo shirts from the discount place a couple of miles away. No logo colored t-shirts and sweats from multiple sources. House brand jeans from Land's End, Penney's etc -- whatever fits well and is on sale. Athletic shoes from the local Sports Mart -- whatever fits and is on sale, usually New Balance. Men's suits and ties from a variety of sources. |

| Right now.. pj pants and a random latin day t shirt... normally i wear.. whatever random pair of non stretch jeans i can find for less than $30! Which has to be labelless beacuse you generallyl pay at least $40 for a label! Than either a cheapo from some event (fencing, latin, band, volinteering, vacation) and if i feel like beaing pretty I wear a foofy shirt, which are random unique shirts that i get from stores, generally on clearence, beacuse they are too random too sell, too brightly colored, etc.. These generally have labels on them, but i don't know what they are beacuse they are always different.... The only labelish store i ever shop at is old navy, and thats for shorts.... beacus they have them seperated by lengths, so i can actually find ones that cover more than my underwear!!!!!!!!! And they don't scream "look at me!!! I AM OLD NAVY" |

| Black. Lots and lots of black.
Normal days - Old Navy yoga pants ("dress sweats"), jeans, and lots of cotton and linen. Ann Taylor for formal/business occasions, linen and silk drop-sleeve gowns for medieval occasions. Victoria's Secret supplies all the underthings I own (except for fencing). It's really all about the fabric.

| i've got lots of Eddie Bauer stuff...
but in general unlabeled, labels often just are too expensive.
though, with the sports wear in general it's adidas, puma or nike......
if I could choose (by having the money for it) and if I fit in (which I don't!!) I'd wear Armani and Jill Sander.

| hmm... Santelli, Adidas, Leon Paul, Blue Gauntlet... --oh wait, you said when I'm not fencing!! :-) I've recently realized that about 90% of the clothes I own look like they came from American Eagle Outfitters, regardless of their actual point of origin. Anyway, most of my favorite stuff's AE, Abercrombie, and Gap, not because I care about the label, but because I like the look. |
