I have the exact same problem. It would be nice to go in to any store and buy a pair of pants instead of searching everywhere for long sizes. I'm only 5'9''-ish, which really isn't that tall. What I think is really funny, though, is that everyone tells me I'm so lucky to be tall and wish they were taller. They have know idea whats its like to shop for pants and skirts don't even get me started

You can tell the way the way people talk. Like how they phrase their sentences. Also I have, said i was a girl, somewhere. I think in the llama thread. furthermore, Andrast is not my name, she's the goddess of something or other (I think she's the warrior goddess) in celtic mythology.

Let me try to explain: I consider my body to be quite 'ordinary' for a woman of my age. I'm not thin but I'm not exactly 'fat' either. However when I try to shop for clothes I am expected to have the body of a 12-year old. Hellooo?!
Although the clothes may look good - where do I put my backside?!
(Ok, you're a guy. I suspect you won't understand... ) | ah, i have that problem too(female). i buy pants the correct size for my backside, then take them in at the waist. being able to sew is good.

You provide me with soooooo many ways to get myself in trouble Quote:
(Ok, you're a guy. I suspect you won't understand... )
| Actually, I find it VEERRRRRY difficult to find good fitting clothes. My huuuuge pecs and biceps make it hard... OK, I'm just kidding.
I do have problems finding pants. I have a very muscley lower body. My thighs are about 27" in girth. When I was in shape, I had to find pants that would fit my 27-28" thighs and my 34" waist (which has...ummm...expanded as of late). I was happy when everything went baggy here. Finally! Pants that fit me just about right I can't even get straight legged jeans over my calves, let alone trying to fit my a$$ in them.
I feel your pain Z, I feel your pain...

I was on the board for over a year before I realized that most people labored under the impression that I was female...I'm pretty sure there are still those who remain misguided.
Without a pic or information in your profile, don't expect people to guess your gender merely based on posts. Trust me, just because you explicitely state it in one or two posts, doesn't mean the whole board will suddenly understand your message.
