| Cool in a hummm way.
It's definitely interesting, but I am not sure I would be comfortable with it considering the long hours I spend on the computer. I think it's applications would be best in social computing - cyber cafe's and while wifi-ing in the park. Ha, and for surveillance!
Very artsy. |

| No no. It's not real. It's photo art. Just snap a picture of anything and make it your background on you computer. |

| In theory couldn't you do it if you had a webcam mounted to your laptop and you were able to program it use the webcam image as your background. Then just set it with a really high refresh rate.
I don't know how practicle it would be (and how much system resources it would take) but I'm certain it's possible.

The webcam processing would be local which would require relatively little support. You could, if you wanted, to set your desktop image to a remote webcam, maybe watching the surfers in Long Beach or something, but that would require more system resources for the feed and refresh, but again could be done and could be cool and fun to do. |

You would need one that was built into the laptop and right in the middle of it. And it would have to be a really high quality lens. |

Depending on what image we want to post as our desktop image would be the determination for where the webcam was... right? |

| A constantly moving wallpaper could get distracting very easily. But it would be cool.
Now if only I actually owned a laptop to do it with.
