Zipper Problem

Anyone has any experience on fixing a FIE jacket zipper?

Take it to a tailor and have them replace the zipper. I've done it a few times.

They seem to go pretty easily.

We do it for $10.00 plus the cost of the Zipper at home. At Nac its $20.00 plus the cost of the zipper.

There's nothing special about sewing on FIE fabrics-- needles will go through the weave just like on any other fabrics, and will be cut by a sharp pair of fabric scissors with little difficulty. Ballistic fabrics resist blunt penrtration, not cutting with a sharp edge or something that slips in between the weave like a sewing needle.
