There's a four-weapon world cup out here in early July. ME, WE, MF, WS... Well I guess technically WE and MF are the FIE A tourneys but still not too shabby.... So.. anybody planning to show up? Vampoover is beautiful in July

We're expat Canucks (Montreal) - when in July is it? The Summer Nationals here in the US are July 1-10 and we'll be in California for those, pretty well the whole time, but I'm looking for an excuse to go back to Vancouver...I love the place!

I was planning on it until the USFA put the one event I have to go to in Sacramento on the Friday the WC begins in BC. Darn. The event last year (March 2004) was *great*.

Hi! All of the information is at www.pbinternational.ca... And yes, it is unfortunate that US Summer nationals are happening at the same time..... I wonder how it is going to affect the turnout.... especially this being only the first yeasr of teh Olympic Cycle... Just like last year the event will be held at the War memorial Gym/Student rec Centre at UBC (where I should be right now instead of reading fencing.net lol) But yeah, check out the website - it's got an amuzing promo video. The guy who is collapsing on the piste in teh middle of it is me - I was losing 4-0 to Jonathan Pena in the pools and after coming back to 4-4 made the rookie mistake of my career.... Even though Pena is obviosuly way more experienced than I am... and then fell in shame (I thought it was going to look more dramatic, but turned out downright clumsy lol)
