polls rising to the top of the thread list again

Just wanted to revisit a suggestion that I know has been made here previously, but still bothers me.

A new vote in a poll raising the thread to the top of the list. That stupid "ratings" poll (that ends with the discussion of who is Sparticus) keeps getting me to click on it becuase it continues to rise into the current thread list.

At the very least I'd appreciate if it rose, but remained in the non-highlighted state that threads that I've already read the most recent post on have.
