| Do you think these shoes are good for EPEE fencers? Unlike foilists or sabrers, epeeists tend to bounce a lot instead of going back and forth. Do you think these shoes are good for EPEE fencers?

How poorly they perform on wooden floors varies. While Adidas asyms seem to shine on metal pistes, they appear to be one of the slipperiest on wooden floors. Similar with d'arts II's. Court shoes like the Stabil 5 have a stickier sole that works better on a wooden floor, even when the floor begins to get dirty, which is not suprising as that is where the shoes were designed to be used.

| Both my coach and I wear Stabil. Two fencers said it looks like my foot wants
to come out of my shoe (bought it a 1/2 size larger), I don't think so, and
the shoe is the most comfortable. Doesn't pinch when I lunge. Doesn't feel
heavy. Doesn't hurt the heel.
Great shoe overall.

| Stabil 6's I work for pwp and we can't wait for the Stabil 6's either!!! We will have images of 3 of the colours of Stabil 6 (but not the black ones cos adidas don't have one yet) early next week. Unfortunately as we've not seen them in the flesh we've got no feedback on how good they are.

| the one i went was at expo. good time to get shoes cos i got the stabils for only S$60, and they usually go for over a hundred. the one i saw in queensway is the "fire" one. i think it's a stabil 5 but with a different colour scheme.
