I was the one who posted the "new product listing", though I have't gotten around to posting a review yet. Not having tried the LP 350N jacket, I can't offer a valid comparison. I used to wear a BG uniform with a HUGE nylon stretch panel on the back. Compared to this, the superlight does indeed feel cooler.

The superlight feels cold in the arms when you first it on due to the use of ballistic nylon instead of cotton fabric. It's a fairly comfortable jacket, but I can't say how it compares to ther FIE uniforms out there. I fenced in a local tournament last weekend, wearing their FIE plastron, their superliht uniform, and LPs Superlight sabre lame. I wasn't really sweaty at all, despite fencing in 5 pool bouts and 2 DE bouts. With my old uniform, I generally felt the need to change my underwear and t-shirt after fencing, due to being soaked in sweat.
