| tables are easier to work with, but bulky and won't render correctly in some places
css is tough to work with at first but gets easier, and allows modularization of your code (you can just change the CSS file and make it look 100% different, not having to touch the actual content) |

I'm in the process of overhauling our club's web site. This is the current site, as done by some one else
(Before): http://www.coastalcarolinafencing.com
This will be the new site, when finished

Thanks
P.S. Birchey - nice one, well done for saying arse and not donkey | cascading style sheets are designed to allow visual placement. useing tables to so the arranging is a pervision of what it's supposed to be used for. as such some of the things tables do are not fully documented and can cause irregularites in how the page displays in different browsers. use css it was designed to over come the tables issue |

Works pretty well for us.
And noodle, in case you missed it, I'm a web designer NOT a graphic designer. I do the cool backend stuff, not the artsy front end stuff. *grin*
AND, just so I can tweak your CSS positioned nose a bit, CSS won't render properly in older browsers and has some compatability issues so NYAH! Tables uber alles!
James.

| Here's the website for my club : http://www.cuttingedgefencing.com. I must admit, webdesigner is significantly down the list of my skills and available time, although, I've gotten a fair number of leads from it in just the couple of months its been up.
I keep hoping I'll get a student with a parent who is a professional web designer or something! |

| Our club site: http://iwfc.net/ (I know, CSS is on my 'things to figure out later in all that spare time I don't have' list. ) I'm obviously not a designer of any sort. I'm just trying to keep info out there, updated, and easy for people to find. Feedback's appreciated! |
