Array hello, all i've been hanging around for awhile, and have only just now signed up, so i can throw my two cents into these conversations. i did two years of foil, before switching to epee. there's just something about the weight of it. after three years, i'd never go back. i like toe touches too much.
i hope to get to know as many of you as possible. it feels like i've only scratched the surface of fencing. I am but mad by north-north west. When the wind is southerly i know a hawk from a handsaw. -Hamlet -

Array Welcome to the boards. I'm in NJ too. Are you over toward the water or more western like me? Everybody has to believe in something. I believe I am going to have another beer. -
Welcome Zasha. You made the correct choice of weapon. -

Array Have they started putting something in the water lately. What's with all the new epeeists? What the world needs is more sabre fencers.
Welcome anyway. -

Array Wellcome Zasha, nice to meet you. Epeeist eh? I start with foil and now I am an epeeist! The purpose of tactic is to conquer the enemy with proper war movements and actions.

Array Welcome Zasha, you're in a state with an abundant amount of opportunities for competition and good instruction. Enjoy the experience. You can train for strength & speed but heart must come from within.
