| They're using the old santelli masks. I dont believe those are USFA approved. Not safe. I disagree with the premise of this video, its a bad demonstration, and shows fencing as being unsafe. I say that the USFA should boycott Bowling for soup. Any lawyers on this board? I want to sue.

| There's been a commercial on TV lately for a men's hair color product that features some dry saber fencing.

| Saw the commercial, but it looked to me like they were using different weapons every time - the bellguards kept changing. First were the sabers, then I think were epees and lastly foils? Of course, it was late and I was unwinding after a trip to the ER so I could have been mistaken...

Dan | An Academy classic. This past fall, we would have Thursday Night Raves out in the quad - every Thursday night, somebody with an impressive sound system would put on that song and blast it over the quad. People all around would start dancing in their windows, flashing lights, turning on strobe lights...the three four-digs next door to me would all put on their bathrobes, wrap towels around their heads, and go down and dance in the quad - they had the entire dance memorized exactly. |

| so that's why a lot of emo kids have started coming to my club to learn to fence. Oh well. It's better than no publicity. I wonder why they put it in though. I mean besides it being the most awesome sport in the world of course. |

| I've seen a add for something in a magazine, and it featured Fencing. Guys doing electric foil, with dry foils. They had the lames on, bodywires, all the rest of it, holding dry foils. What the f***..
