    First Competition quick question

I am planning to enter the "D and under" tournament on March 12 as listed at the following address:

    http://renaissancefencing.net/defaul...page=RFCEvents

However, i notice that next to the information, it says "close of registration"
Does this mean it is too late to register?

    Thanks in advance

    No.

The close of registration is the heading.

    Thus:

The mixed sabre closes at 9:30
    Mixed Epee – 11:30 a.m.
    Mixed Foil – 2:00 p.m.

So, to enter the foil, one must be present and check in before 2:00 pm/

    Good luck, and have fun.

No, it means that is the time of day that they intend to announce that if you haven't signed up yet then you can't fence. They will then seed the pools and print pool sheets and the fencing will begin as soon after that as they have strips and directors available.

    Good luck!

You can regester at the tournament. You'll see the fencers lined up at a table, just get in line, itl cost a total of $20-25 or so. and they'll want to check your mask, then they'll stamp it and thats that.
I think therefore, I fence foil.
