    Nah, you're giving me too much credit. I guess by "ACW" you mean
    American Civil War, and I *guess* "touch the elbow" is an expression of
    company solidarity. But I didn't know you were involved with
    reenacting, and I didn't know the "hard man" line was popular with
    reenactors.
