Pointe d'Arret

Can anyone post specifications (drawings?) for the pointe d'arret used many
years ago on wet (i.e., inked) epees.

The oldest copy I have of the AFLA Manual is dated 1965 and refers only to
electrical epees. I'm having problems explaining the pointe to younger
fencers.

Thanks,
Len Rubin

Go to:

They have them for sale, along with some other hard-to-find classical
fencing items.

Re: Pointe d'Arret

THESE TCAS folks NEVER, I mean NEVER answer the phone nor do they have
an answering machine@!!!!!! Gosh Darnit!!! I wanted to order some
Italian Grips from them because their prices are great and their
workmanship is par excellence per the pics they have on the site.

Oh crappy day it is!!!!

PS: I did try several times over several days taking into account the
different time zones as well. I'd like to order from them though. Like
3 full grips, false ricassos, pommels and all.

Disappointed....

Re: Pointe d'Arret

I've been told by someone at TCA that they "just" split their sport fencing
and SCA sections. Each is separately owned and operated and are trying to
get their houses in order which perhaps explains their customer service
problems.
