Very - I want all the nitty-gritty detail including touches for and against in all the bouts
-
Important, but I would be happy to have the finishing positions of all of the fencers
-
Not important - I only care if I place in the trophies
-
Don't need a copy - I wait around and look at the standings the day of the event

Array How important are tournament results to you? Getting results (mail, e-mail, or web-posting) from fencing tournaments has been hit and miss for me so far. Being somewhat new to fencing tournaments, I'm wondering how much importance other competitors place on seeing the results of the time and money they invested. One test is worth a thousand opinions. Array It is very important for me. I use tournament results to mark my progress (?) and to keep a journal of people that I have fenced. -
Very important. I also use them to provide a record of my progress. I record both my final position, and individual bouts.

Array I don't really care whether I have a copy of the results, as long as I know where I placed. Our club keeps a record of all tournaments fenced by members, so If I need something, I can always get it. TJE. -

Array Some where between very and important, with a healthy dose of not at all, I stick around to the bitter end for tournaments which I'm actually at. I like to be able to see how people got to where they did for events I wasn't present for. For events where I am fencing I tend to know that already.

I'd be interested in to see the brackets, see who each person fenced, and what their scores were. -

-B And so that you have someone to go out to dinner with afterwards... -
I care more about my own fencing than how i place.. I keep a record of all of my bouts and noted about my opponent.. i generally copy all of my bouts and order of points.... I try to wait till i know standings.. so i know how i placed in relationion to how i did aginst the others who placed that i fenced.. Beacse i am obsessive like that.. lol! -
I just want to know how I placed. Detail is good, but pool bout scores aren't really necessary. -
