The best combat sword is the one you put into your enemy first, before he does
so to you. It is whatever weapon you are most proficient with. Doesn't matter
if it's a broadsword, backsword, two-handed claymore, smallsword or a steak
knife. Every night and every day, battles are fought and won (and lost) by
people wielding everything from screwdrivers to machetes and at the end of the
day, the only thing that matters is who is still standing.
The real question is, "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?"
