Fencing on TV in Canada

I was up near Toronto this week on business and while I was just settling into my hotel room I checked out the local tv and saw a news spot on fencing.

They had a 5 min spot on a Junior Provisional tournament being held in Scarborough, Ontario just outside of Toronto.

It was a great segment I thought, it explained basic fencing, and explained some misconceived notions that people may have about fencing being dangerous. They also had the a high ranking Candian Junior and Cadat fencer who was also the Provisional Champion.

It was a great promotion and I wish we could see more spots like this, epecially here in the U.S. If we did, we would surely have more people get into the sport of fencing!

We had a few spots on the FOX News and the local sports shows right around Olympics-time, since Felicia and Iris Zimmermann hail from Rochester, NY.

Sabrette is on a distinguished road
Hey!! I was there (I did really badly, but I was there...). If they didn't cut out the part when a couple brunettes and some others passed by the camera, one of those people was me! I'm so proud.

Do you happen to remember what show it was aired on?

Sorry, No I dont remember the channel it was on, but it was a news spot and good one at about 5 mins.

I remember some scenes were there were others in the background, but frankly I cant say whether any of them were brunettes or not.
