400$ for a locker for a year seems a bit over the top?

| Oooh, the prices you people pay for fencing! *faints*
The salle looks a bit 'barren' but ok I suppose. And how can you afford to employ all of those coaches?! Anyway, best of luck with the new club.

Zmurfen, I heard you say your club has ~300 members? Isn't your club more of a fencing complex than a fencing club? How many pistes are there?
That NY club has alot of coaches who sound very good

How many pistes are there? | Yes, we're about ~300 members, alas not all of them fencers as this also includes 'supportive members' (is that how you'd call it in english?), ie. fencers parents, retired fencers etc.
And my club isn't a complex at all (although I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that). It's just a normal fencing club, but one of the bigger in Sweden.
I'd say we're fairly well off compared to other (swedish) fencing clubs. Our salle has 9 pistes, alas it's a wooden floor so no metal pistes, unfortunately. However, the salle is for fencing exclusively and not used for any other activities.
(And on a side note, my annual club fee - including lessons from my coach (Yes, he can beat up your coach! ) who's a certified Maître D'Armes - the equivalent of ~220 USD.)
And sorry Vincikai for threaddrifting!
