The Triplette blades are OK, and far better than a schlager=E2=80=94the pri=
ce
is reasonable too, but not quite as 'accurate' as they make them out
to be.
IMO, the best and most accurate blades are the Del Tins, especially
the 'bated rapier blade.' Also up there, are the new blades that
Darkwood Armory is making=E2=80=94they are very similar in handling to the =
Del
Tins, but a bit less expensive.
Caveat:
A lot depends on what type of rapier play you're looking to do also.
If you're looking at the earlier time frame (late 16th c. to early
17th c.) then IMO the Bated forms of the Del Tin or Darkwood are best.
If were talking early to mid 17th c., then I'd recommend the
Del/Darkwood Practice, if it's the end of the rapier era leading to
small sword then the FISAS blade might be best.
