| Interesting I'm tired of quietly forwarding these issues to the admins. So, here goes:
Today I learned, by reading an earlier post made by LUDICROUS, that the word "pussies" is NOT banned as of 5:48 AM February 6th, 2005. However, f@ggot is banned. Not even the now conservative FCC bans the use of the word @ss, or f@ggot- they do ban the use of the word "pussies" before 10:00pm though. Perhaps the admins would care to offer some insight regarding the free use of the words "pussies," or "twat" for that matter, while the far less offensive @ss and f@ggot remain banned.

| FTH: I think some of it has to do with the fact that the board is owned and ran by a private party... if we want to use it, we have to play by the rules of said party.
Kind of like... it's legal to smoke, but I don't let people smoke in my house. |

You should have read his Live Journal before he took it down. He's one of those people that you really don't need to take the time to insult because his actions/philosophies cause him enough trouble. I checked out his LJ when he broke up with some chick a some months ago, it was like reading the diary of a middle-schooler.
And, yes... I am being more accepted. As of this writing my rep stands at 92. Half of those points have come from me insulting people.

| the question isn't one of discerning between the severity of those words.
edit:
i did a little word test and it failed. what can i say? there's gotta be a line drawn somewhere, and the mods have drawn it. if they ban one bad word, then someone will complain that they didn't ban one that is slightly less bad but still kinda bad, and if that happens, someone else will complain about another one, etc. etc. etc. |

For one thing, that the admins will ban certain words because they're offensive, but not others that are equally (if not more) offensive, demonstrates hypocricy on their part. Also, I explained, I tire of discussing this issue in private, because it lets the admins save face despite their aforementioned hypocricy. If they're going to critique me, publicly sometimes, for my language, then I'm certainly going to critique them for their failures. When one tries to paint himself as a moral compass, as Craig has done, one becomes subject to the review of his peers.

| Craig paints himself as a moral compass? Must have missed that.
This is, of course, going purely on your definition of what is more or less offensive. There is also Noodle's comment - you can't ban everything that everyone would find offensive. And finally, before jumping to the conclusion of hypocricy, I would consider the possibilities of apathy and oversight. |

| I think bull**** somehow slipped under the vulgarity radar too, unless this post proves me wrong that is.

| Is that what they teach you at the Academy? Don't admit you're wrong about anything, just argue semantics and hope you can twist the issue. Quote: |

| Idiot, I already said that I've been telling Craig about these problems. How can you be so ignorant, the words are right there in front of you. No wonder you get dumped so often, you're a freakin' 'tard.
