If you can read Finnish (or Swedish) and can use a library with remote loan possibility, you're into a lifetime of research. Less than that, there are some good sources in Finnish in the Internet. Unfortunately, English sources, both books and Internet, are few and a far between -- and even then tend to be on very general level
The concensus seems to be that there's nothing of interest in Finnish history between years 0 AD to 1939...even to most Finns.
