Does anyone know the official story regarding Santelli and their closure? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm curious to know the fate of the company as well, but I'm afraid that the full story will never be clear. It's really kind of sad though, I've done business with them in one fashion or another since the early eighties. I hope, however, when they get past whatever difficulties they are incurring, the company will rise up like the proverbial phoenix- but that's just the sentimential side I guess.

If you search previous threads, you will find a number of discussions about the situation, although they may fall short of "the official story".

The official story, that I've read in posts is that they were having a dispute with their landlord. The landlord had shut off power and everything to their building and they were pretty much kicked out? I'm sure you'll hear a better explanation if you hit search in the top right of the screen and look for the discussion topic.

The nonofficial story is that they were abducted by aliens.

I suppose you might try The Fencing Post, or their eBay reseller of Santelli equipment. I will warn you, I had a degree of difficulty in contacting either party throughout a transaction of ours. It got to the point that I had to have the money refunded after many false promises of sending the gear. Tisk. :\

The fencing post? I really don't think they carry Santelli equipment. Also, I've never had a problem with them nor known anyone who has. Or at least one that Saul hasn't addressed in a timely manner.
