Array Equipment Storage I have been elected armourer for our new found fencing club at my college. We have just ordered new equipment for our club and are currently storing it in the cardboard boxes that it came in. We have a good sized closet that everything is kept in, but we have to lug our equipment to a gym on the other side of the building. Does anyone have any sugjestion on better ways to store the equipment so that it will last a long time and is easy to transport across the building? -

Array Maybe one or two of those heavy cabinets that A/V or musical equipment goes in? They're very heavily built, lockable, and have wheels and handles on them... -

Array If you know someone who know cabinetry, you could have something made with wheels. What this would do is make it specific. I would make 2 cabinets on wheels. One for clothing and one for equipment. You might even make it three with 1 for reels, boxes and cords and 1 for weapons, masks and cords.
Have pegs for the gloves, hanging for the jackets and lames maybe with a divider in between, etc. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com

Array We have a simple solution for the division gear. Put everything in tupperware style boxes, stack them on a dolly/hand truck and secure them with a bungee cord. The stack stands up by itself, has a very small footprint, and you just wheel it where you need to go, put it back on and wheel it back. Really simple and pretty cheap.
