| There is one other test you might think of trying. For those who don't know, there is a program to tell the box how to react. It seems some of the manufacturers had a bug in the program. If there was a hit and then there was blade contact before the 15ms was up, the clock would start all over. This meant there had to be 15ms of depression AND no contact between the 2 weapons. This would cause hits that appeared to hit would not register.
Leon Paul and St. George, 2 of the machines that did the off-target timing correctly according to the Congress did NOT have this bug. AllStar and a Russian machine did have the bugs. They have not tested any others for this bug.
I don't know if you can add this to your test, but it would be interesting.
