Regarding all the bumps

The animosity towards drippingwet is as ridiculous as it is unfounded. Seriously, how obvious is it that the troll (I really think there's only one) recognized the dislike for some of his threads, and thought that to piss us off, he could simply bump them. If I was drippingwet, I would be more pissed off than anyone else here. It's just embarrassing for him, and brings up old complaints against his threads.

The accusation that drippingwet is TrollyMcTroll is literally retarded.

If anything, I think it's a loss that drippingwet has been forced to stop making threads. In my first couple months here (and even now), I asked some questions much dumber than parrying with my sword arm. But I learned from the answers, and that's the purpose of this board. If new fencers aren't allowed to ask questions, then fencing.net has no reason to exist.

So the "smite" button on the keyboard does work! I wish you had applied it to him earlier. Removed him off the face of the planet. How do you get a smite button?

For the record Trolly and DW are not one and the same. If they were, I would be extremely surprised. I've found the attacks that DW has had to endure slightly annoying in their own right.

Regarding Bumps

I don't think we will be tolerating this habit as we move forward. If you think that a thread is important enough to be kept visibile then let Craig or myself know and we can stickify it - assuming we agree. It would also be a good idea to agree a time limit for how long you want a thread stickified.

If a thread has died and you want to revive it then post in it - don't just bump it. If you can't find a specific thread then I recommend the search function! It works. I can't think of anything else that I want to make a comment on at the moment. Craig may want to chime in but I consider this topic closed. When I get a moment I may write up another public service announcement.
