    Hey everyone...I just joined

    I've just joined here a few days ago, I was looking for some fencing sites and I found this. I've only been fencing for about 6 months, but I really enjoy it so far. My names Rose and I'm from PA.

    Haha, well, I'm doing foil because thats what they start us on, but I'm not sure yet where I'll go from there. They all seem interesting!

    *Sigh* You are just envious, aren't you? We don't have to deal with tip screws, or springs, or re-wiring, or... That and sabre kicks but. And we can use the entire weapon! Not just poke, poke, poke! Whatever suits, I suppose...

    Welcome to the sport that borders on obsession. Nice to have someone else from PA with us. Don't forget- give epee a try as soon as possible

    Thanks for the welcomes! Some people were talking about fencing being obsessive, and I have to say, I have yet to meet a fencer who just does it sometimes. Given, I don't know a ton of people in others sports who just do it sometimes, but there seems to be practically none in fencing. The fencers I know do it aLOT. And even though I've only been doing it for a short time, I already wish I could go more often than I do. But I'm sure I only know the half of it
