Well, in fairness he needs to add a lot more than just the little people, needed to do a significantly better job of seeding the initial pools, etc., etc. I'm willing to go along with him holding a tournament with just his selected invitees. Of course then it just determines "Who's the coolest (of the people DFP chose to be contestants)" rather than "Who's the coolest poster on fencing.net".

Besides, keeping the voting visible you can see who many of the "alternative IDs" are and make good guesses at who they belong to....

Next time, I think you should have a registration. That way you wouldn't have to worry about such and such. Seed them according to their reputations into the pools.

I suppose reputation MIGHT have as close a correlation to "coolness" as the USFA letter classifications do to fencing ability. Yeah, seems like as convenient seeding system.
