What are your opinions on the nominees?

I thought that Paul Giamati got cheated. His role in sideways was superior to most of those that got the nominations, especially Clint Eastwood.

I was a bit surprised that A Very Long Engagement didn't get a nod in the Foreign Language category-- aside from being a quite good film, it's the sort of sweeping epic that the Academy critters usually love.
