    What does "sheisen kompf" mean?

This German kid at my club keeps saying this to me. He usually says it when I hit him but sometimes he just mumbles it when we're in the locker room together. Should I be concerned about this?

He is probably saying Scheisskopf, and it means "sh*thead."

    Regards, MR

Maybe he's referring to himself. Sometimes people get angry at themselves after making a mistake.

Kompf means "eater"? Scheiss is indeed **** . And chances are, the second word is kopf, meaning head. Maybe he said "kampf" for war (don't know what that would mean, then).

As for calling you scheisskopf in the locker room, that would either mean he doesn't care much for you or that it's an endearing term, used colloquially. In some countries, apparently, people would call each other with some sort of expletive which, in its actual definition, would be quite demeaning or offensive.

Yup this is quite common in Scotland. Guy's in particular when they're mucking about refer to themselves (and their family) in really demeaning terms. If a Scotsman ever says "yer Ma" [and he's smiling] things are okay - sling an insult back. If he says it then immediately starts kicking you in the nether regions things are not so good!!!

Are you sure he's not saying:
**** + STRUGGLE? as in mein komph? (My Struggle by Hitler).
You may have a little **** -head on your hands. I would ask him out for a stein of beer and cry into it, then show him re-runs of Zero Mostel's "The Producer" and try to figure the whole thing out.
