    end of strip runoff

    ok, time to help me out really quicklike.

    the strip is 14 meters itself. behind the end of each strip is supposed to be 1.5-2m runoff, yes? can someone give me the rule number where this is stated? its kind of scribbled into one diagram, but i can't find an actual rule anywhere.

    If you look at the diagram, the answer is right there. Check M.57.4

    Mabe this will help you!

    FENCING RULES
    2000 Edition
    United States Fencing Association, Inc.

    t.14 Five lines should be drawn very clearly on the strip at right angles to its
    length, as follows:
    — one center line which must be drawn as a broken line across the
    whole width of the strip;
    — two on-guard lines at 2 meters on each side of the center line. These
    must be drawn across the whole width of the strip;
    — two lines at the rear limits of the strip, which must be drawn across
    the whole width of the strip, at a distance of 7 meters from the center
    line. In addition, the last 2 meters of the strip before these rear limit
    lines must be clearly distinguished — if possible by colored stripes
    — to make it easy for the fencers to be aware of their position on the
    strip (see Figures 1 and 2, pp. 7 and 8).
