| A couple of my friends and I are having a starcraft tournament but it doesn't seem all that exciting. Counter Strike definetly gets my vote.

Sims 2
Talk about addictive. After a bad day, getting into a swordfight with Blackbeard or destroying a ship with your awesome 40+ gun war galleon is the best. And the gold. Oh, the gold!
And Sims 2 is just funny.

| Half Life 2, no competition
Age of Empires 2 was a really good game. I'm glad they're coming out with AoE3 in a little bit. |

| Command and Conquer. Eats Starcraft for breakfast.
C&C and then C&C:RA were awesome. RA2 was ok, Tiberium sun sucked, Generals was alright at the time, and so was zero hour (expansion pack). Renegade was boring. C&C!
But now....Dawn of war is starting to become my favourite game, but it'll never top C&C! Battlefield:vietnam is awesome too. CS.

| The graphics of Sims 2 are kool, just the uploads get really annoying, really fast. That is probably what bothers me most.

wait till the price dies down and the servers stabilize.
there's a reason why the game is sold out EVERYWHERE and has been since it came out. |

And Sims 2 is just funny. | Frigates are where it's at. I just looove the frigates.
I still have the original Pirates! for the Commodore 64. The map is a little ratty now, though... |

3-D vector ray graphics in real time in a 3-D environment... in 1982! On machines with less memory than your keyboard! Pure genius.

| Anybody who posts Halo or Half-Life 2 is a fanboy - you too World of Warcraft. You need the game to be out for a few years and see what happens. (I know these are just opinions but WoW has major stability issues, "you will be logged on in .... calculating ..... 4 hours, please wait"!)
On that note:
Startcraft Broodwar
Baldur's Gate I
Diablo II (it's not the best but it stole so much of my life I have to justify the loss somehow)
Unreal Tournament the original (hours of LAN fan)

| "Doom" revolutionized PC games, and made the first person shooter game a staple of the industry.
I like the on-line play of the Unreal Tournament series a lot, as well.
