Array Good Community I have avoided internet forums for a few years for a variety of reasons. I was reticent to sign up on this one. But, I'm glad that I did. The discussions are insightful and I have picked up many tips in less than one week. This is a good community. I appreciate the willingness to share.
Many thanks. -

Array Welcome. Yes, we have our tiffs and the occasional troll, but by and large we are sane and civil. ( Or at least civil, in the case of foilists. ) -

Array Welcome Coup de Grace to this board. I was in the same situation as you, but this board is really a great place to talk about fencing. Great topics and lots of humor! "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

Array Thanks for the warm welcome. I appreciate it. Look at me...I'm hooked. Now I'm on the boards every night now.
Is there a self-help group for this? -

Array One more thing: Will someone explain the "Member" vs. "Senior Member" designations I have noticed on the profiles?
Is there pledging and hazing involved to become a member? (he said jokingly) -

Array It isn't anything really, you just get the titles after you post a certain number. I think member is 50 and senior member is 100 and senior member is the highest. You can change it but you need to become a green member (like me ) which means you pay. "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."
