Seen it and have worked with the EOD version when I was in Baghdad. Not sure how it will work out in a tactical environment. "Fast" and "maneuverable" are relative terms. And, no, they don't run on Windows.

Something about it reminds me of the robots in the film Short Circuit.

.... it's ok we only have to keep our heads down for 4 hours until its battery runs down - unless the Mark II can seek out and plug into the mains of course.

But Soldier gave me an idea. Instead of shooting everyone, it should just go around Iraq installing Windows 2.0. Pretty soon, all the terrorists would surrender.

Maybe these killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, we could send wave after wave of our own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down.

Rep points for the person who ids this...and it's not short circuit.

The one thing I am afraid of is if someone hacks into the robots and starts shooting the wrong people. And what about all those soilders out their who will lose their jobs to robots? Just wondering.

Link it to an Xbox and make it into a networked game and you'd have a big seller, it would blow all the war sims away.

As long as any of our units weren't in the area and they were able to shut down the units remotely if they started causing trouble I think it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Sooner or later battles will be fought with only robots on plain fields.
