[CFML] new salle in Ashland

Hi fencers,

If you happen to be in Ashland, Oregon, make plans to fence. Maestro
John McDougall has opened a beautiful new fencing salle there. To my
knowledge, this is the only dedicated fencing studio in Southern Oregon
and Northern California (the nearest salle being in Chico, California,
the next nearest being us in Salem, Oregon).

Southern Oregon Fencing Center/Sword & Mask
1090 Benson Way #3
Ashland OR 97520
541-488-7648

Maesto McDougall has more than 50 years of fencing experience (and many
years of salle management). He studied under Jack Nottingham, Eduardo
Mangiarotti, Hans Halberstadt, and Aldo Nadi, to name just a few of his
mentors.

They welcome visitors and new members, so stop in. So, make sure you
take your fencing gear when traveling to or through Southern Oregon, as
well as a love of theatre (Ashland is the home of the world-famous
Oregon Shakespeare Festival).
