| PDA Programs I searched the search page and was unable to find what I was looking for.
At any rate, I'm looking for a program that I've seen several referees use. It is score and time display for a PDA, and i was wondering where I could find it at. Also, can it be used pocket pc instead of palmos also?
Thanks

| I don't know specifically what you're talking about, but I doubt it would be that hard to program yourself. |

| I know that Andreas Färber has posted here sometime ago, promoting his " Planche Project".
I also KNOW that I have something on my (old) Palm but can't remember what it's called and can't seem to find it online. (Could check it up though if you wish, in that case PM me. I may even have the pgm-file...)

| www.handango.com, look up PalmFencer by Jon Daley. $15 (or so) shareware. He's updating it to work with the Treo 6XXs (or any five-button PDAs using PalmOS 4.X+).
He sent me an alpha to test the five button feature. Works fine, but I'm going to have to tell him to make any of the five buttons work, as it's hard to tell whether the up or down or left-right buttons are being pushed.
There are still some bugs with name lengths and such.
ScorePad by Eigertek folks (Eric Schlaepfer) is a freeware. Doesn't have as many features as PalmFencer (no pools, no flip fencers, no touch order for DE points, no separate frame for time versus scores). Otherwise, it works great.

| I found it on this hit by google-ing it.
I've got a T5 that it seems to work great on.
Hope this is helpful. www.fencing101.com/search/Software/ |

| For palm-based pda's I like Eigertek's ScorePad (its free, as in beer, too): http://www.sonic.net/~schlae/eigertek/scorepad.html
For Pocket PC ones: FencingTime's version was very good, but it seems to have dissapeared off their site.

Dan | Dan,
Is your Pocket Fencing program capable of downloading information to the Fencing Time program? I've got some ideas I'd like to share with you. If your interested, either PM me or email me at mmergens@hotmail.com
