    Training

If I get a really heavy epee and train with it; it will probably increase my strength and speed, but will it throw me off if I have a very light epee when I duel?
I think. Therefore...I am not a tar heel.

Hi Cameroncrazy. Look dont take a very heavy epee. Try it with medium weight, that will help you much better.
The purpose of tactic is to conquer the enemy with proper war movements and actions.

    Hi,

You're right in theory, strength and speed should improve useing a heavier weapon. A good fencer would automatically adjust his movements in a fight according to what weapon they're using, according to it's weight and balance, etc.

However, my advice is to train with the épée you would normally use!!!

Train with the one you would normally use, and lift weights and do pushups.
