The venue is a mile or 2 from Waikiki Beach. Most of the fencers from the mainland stay in Waikiki.

Some of the past winners are: Kip Cox, Wesley Bellanca, Josh Thurlow, Cedric Anen and Eric Dew.

I haven't received the latest issue of American Fencing Magazine but I was told there is article on Hawaii which mentions the Hawaii Open.

Hopefully I'll make it next year. Just got a new job and cant really take time off yet. And I need at least 2 aditional days to surf...

If your a surfer then this the place for you. If you win you'd probably pick up enough prize money to pay for your airfare. Maybe we'll see you next year.
