Salary Information

We offer a very fair and equitable salary and benefit program for all of our staff. Our first year instructors at the freshman level of college or university begin around $1600 to $1700 per season on up to $2800 for senior level of college or grad students with several years camping experience and/or specialized certifications or coaching experience. In addition, we also offer a guaranteed gratuity package that ranges from $400 to $750 at the end of the season plus a 10% salary bonus for quality summer staff job. In essence, the minimum a staff member would finish the season with would be more than $2200 with the three components of the salary package. All staff members have one full 24 hour day off per week (your choice of weekdays) plus several evenings off from camp after the evening program. The usual benefits of all your meals, lodging, and laundry are provided at no cost to the staff personnel during the season.

$2200 doesn't seem like much for 9 weeks of work... Less than $250/week.
