I didn't say I hated it, but I too think animated avatars are annoying. (Hey, I'm OLD!!!)

But even if your old one would not have been animated I still think this one looks better.

I was making a joke about Inquartata's use of the word "moving" instead of "animated" it sounds sort of like what an old person would say for "movies" - "moving pictures". It was a rather feeble joke. Either way, I liked your other avatar better, it was cool.

Do you use windows? MSPaint is the bitmap editor that comes with windows. It produces hiqual images like the following:
