    Greetings and salutations!!

Hidy ho and hello... Im new... as you can well tell by the fact that I am here in the new person section... I started fencing... well... maybe 5 or 6 months ago with Cleon Grover, who, might I add, is the best fencing teacher I have ever known... ignoring the fact that he's the only fencing teacher Ive ever known...
    Anyhoo
Hows it going? Any tips? Questions? Comments? Bubblegum?

Errrrrrrrrrr welcome friend, just a little question as you have not mentioned it yet - any thoughts as to what weapon(s) you will be fencing?

Seriously though, you will find this place a rich source of fencing information and general fun - welcome.

Of course you do! You are a wise, perspicacious and tasteful person, how could you do otherwise?

And if you really want to get on the good side of people like Inq, get a cool tie-dyed sabre lame (even if it means doing the dye job yourself). Trust me, the results will be worth it.

I dont know why Id try to get on someones good side. Im going to be myself. Either they like it or they dont. I've tried to change myself like that. It doesnt work. I end up spazmodically reverting to myself and doing something completely random. Which, might I add, is much more fun. There are two people in my fencing club who can fence sabre right now, not including the teacher. I want to become the third. It just looks so.... swashbuckly!!!

They are related to a sort of "Reputation" system. You can read more about it in Noodles great Fencing.net FAQ.
