Is the German system of coaching the same as the Beck system of coaching?
What is the German coaching system?
What's the German competitive system?
I saw a picture on the Tauber website of people using lunging pads and however trivial that may sound, this sort of brings to mind what a lot of people might be missing out on. The extent of my fencing experience is 1:1 coaching, sparring and competition. There's no lunging pads, or running a few miles a day, or weight training, etc. Whereas places like Tauber give me the impression that there's much more to becoming a good fencer than 1:1, sparring and competing.
So what's happens on a daily basis in a world class salle/what's a typical world class training programme?
Thanks.
