    sabre crossovers-stryder

i was reading the lessons page number one. for the word crossover you said they are illegal in sabre. Crossovers moving forward in sabre are illegal, retreating crossovers are legal. <img src="graemlins/blah.gif" border="0" alt="[Blah]" />

"Cross-over: Illegal in sabre, the method of bringing your rear foot past your front* foot during attack to increase speed and distance. (*The reverse during retreat.)"

Right you are Servdragon. I guess I'll rewrite it. However, in my own self-riteous defense, The same sentence that states it is illegal also specifies the attack. So, as The Bard might have said, "Nyah, nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah!"

    How about this:

Cross-over: While advancing; the method of bringing your rear foot past your front foot to increase speed and distance. The reverse during retreat. (Note: In Sabre, it is completely illegal to use the cross-over while moving forward, and generally unwise to use it while retreating.)

I hate to be right all the time, so I leave these little faux pas in my work to be found and corrected. Thanks for the input.
