Prieur FIE Chevalier foil blade

I read Cvillefencer's opinion of this blade in the review section. Does anyone else have any experience with these? The $65 price certainly seems right, and I'm looking for a light FIE blade that will keep it's shape for a while. How would this blade compare to a FIE BF in terms of durability?

Thanks,

Mills

The blades are ok, but need time to unstiffen and be more workeable. They do tend to take sharp kinks if you hit a target pretty hard. They're kinda heavy compared to the newer Vniti FIE's. If you do get them, don't get it from BG, as they apparently only have old blades and gave me one marked '02.

New Vniti/ Old Vniti

Can someone compare these? Weight, flexibility, durability?

A while ago I had two Prieur FIE blades that were light and had a purple rust coating on them. If I remember correctly they were Chevs, they felt good and had nice flex and they were quite light so I was happy.
---

That was BEFORE both of them came within an inch of "massive breakage" after somebody counter-attacked me, just one counter-attack and they practically melted.

That was a while ago and the make might've changed or something - the above description doesn't fit with mine so don't take my word as final that's for sure...
