| For the computer gamers! For anybody who plays computer games and hasn't played this you should give it a try, it's fun and it takes up lots of your download limit! Yay! http://www.fileplanet.com/betacenter/guildwars/
The link will take you to a FilePlanet page where you will be able to get an access code for a two day trial of the game guild Wars, a massively multiplayer online role playing game. To get the code you'll need to have a membership with Gamspy/FilePlanet which is free to get.
Anyway I'd suggest this to anybody who wants to play games like Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft without the monthly fee, give it a go.

| I played it for a while, a couple of betas ago...the gameplay, I found mostly boring, but it's worth a download just for the visuals. Probably the most gorgeous game I've ever seen, I just walked around and looked at magnificent waterfalls and such. |

| Before I go and download, I have a question: Can my computer handle it? AMD 1800+, 256 RAM, Radeon 8500.
I had trouble running World of Warcraft.... I think it's mostly a RAM issue though.

It should work quite nicely.

No, no, no. Anyone that plays those games are RPGers, not gamers. I am a gamer will not have my name sullied by some dirty RPGer.

| I like RPGs, but I am more of a powergamer. "True" RPGers hate me. They think I ruin the game by trying to be the most powerful possible.

| Video game RPG's are not 'true' RPGs. They are a subsection unto themselves and not to be confused with tabletop games. FOLLOW THE GOURD!!
So sayeth the crusty b@stard who remembers 1st edition D&D.

| Well, there are just different levels are role playing. The ultimate would probably be the insane SCA people. I have a friend who loves computer RPGs and always makes choices that fit whatever persona he is trying to play. As for me, I tend to save, pick a choice, reload, repeat in order to see all possible outcomes. Then I pick whatever choice gives me the "best" reward. I'm a pure powergramer. It's kinda like my fencing too...I like cheesy stuff that wins bouts. The sole except is the counter-attacking retards that win just because they bend over fully and GROUND OUT MY BLADE MAKING IT ONE LIGHT FOR THEM EVEN THOUGH I NAIL THEM IN THE LEG.
